Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By creating a SongReserve account or using any part of the platform, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, you may not use the service.

2. Description of Service

SongReserve is a platform that allows creators to publish audio content and offer fan subscriptions. Creators set their own subscription pricing. Fans pay creators directly via Stripe. SongReserve charges a platform fee on each successful subscription payment.

3. Accounts

You must be at least 18 years old to create an account. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activity under your account. You must provide accurate information during registration and keep it up to date.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms or that we reasonably believe are being used for fraudulent or abusive purposes.

4. Creator Responsibilities

As a creator, you are solely responsible for the content you upload and publish. You represent and warrant that:

• You own or have the right to distribute all content you upload
• Your content does not infringe any third-party intellectual property rights
• Your content does not violate any applicable laws
• Your content does not contain illegal material, harassment, or explicit adult content unless permitted by applicable law and disclosed to subscribers

SongReserve does not pre-screen uploaded content but reserves the right to remove content that violates these terms.

5. Payments and Fees

Subscription payments are processed by Stripe. Creators must connect a Stripe account to receive payouts. SongReserve deducts a platform fee before funds are transferred to creators. Stripe's own fees also apply.

Subscriptions are recurring and will automatically renew until cancelled. Fans may cancel a subscription at any time; access continues until the end of the current billing period. Refunds are issued at the sole discretion of SongReserve.

6. Intellectual Property

Creators retain full ownership of their content. By uploading content to SongReserve, you grant us a limited, non-exclusive license to host, store, transcode, and deliver that content to your subscribers for the purpose of operating the service.

The SongReserve name, logo, and platform design are our exclusive property and may not be used without written permission.

7. Prohibited Conduct

You may not:

• Share, resell, or redistribute subscriber access tokens
• Attempt to reverse-engineer or scrape the platform
• Use the service to distribute malware or engage in phishing
• Circumvent any access controls or payment requirements
• Impersonate another person or entity

8. Disclaimers

SongReserve is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free service. We are not responsible for the content published by creators or for any disputes between creators and their subscribers.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, SongReserve shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service, including but not limited to lost revenue, lost data, or interruption of service.

10. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms of Service at any time. We will notify registered users of material changes via email. Continued use of SongReserve after the effective date of updated terms constitutes acceptance.
